About
Jensen is an IT support professional in the Greater Toronto Area, combining clear communication with hands-on technical work.
My background began in multimedia and visual communication, where careful presentation, clear storytelling, and problem solving were part of the work. Those same habits became valuable when I moved into hands-on IT support: understand the problem, communicate clearly, and document a solution that someone else can follow.
My school IT support experience includes Windows and Linux classroom laptops, printers, projectors, Zoom and classroom technology, Wi-Fi connectivity, and day-to-day user support. My POS field support experience includes workstation setup, Windows installation and drivers, SSD replacement, printers, cash drawers, basic network equipment, CCTV/IP cameras, Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, onsite troubleshooting, and documentation.
Certifications in CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) support that practical foundation. My current learning focus is CCNA, with particular attention to routing and switching, VLANs, subnetting, and network troubleshooting.
I created Jensen IT Notes to turn real support lessons, homelab practice, and repeated troubleshooting patterns into useful documentation for beginner IT support learners and employers who want to see practical, hands-on work.

Skills
A practical mix of desktop support, cloud admin basics, networking fundamentals, and documentation habits.
Earlier Creative Work
Creative work is a secondary part of this portfolio, but it continues to influence how technical ideas are organized and explained.
Video editing, animation, and motion graphics developed an eye for sequence, timing, and clear visual explanation.
Digital graphics, presentations, and social content built experience in organizing information for different audiences.
That visual background now supports readable knowledge base notes, project documentation, and beginner-friendly technical writing.
